Karly attended The University of California at Berkeley and the University of San Diego, School of Law. After law school, Karly pursued a career in real estate, working at Grubb & Ellis|BRE Commercial, where she specialized in retail investment and leasing transactions involving high density mixed-use projects in downtown San Diego. Her clients included national and local homebuilders whose goals included maximizing property values by selling and leasing the ground floor commercial space to the best possible landlords and tenants. Karly has completed numerous transactions involving the sale of land, apartments, retail investments and commercial leases. After Grubb & Ellis, Karly went on to work at Flocke & Avoyer Commercial Real Estate where she specialized in representing tenants and buyers in market analysis, site selection, relocation and expansion, strategic planning for space needs, negotiation of lease and purchase terms and transaction management.
